Bianca came to the United States with her mother as a young girl. At a young age and into adulthood, Bianca experienced a language barrier that held her back from greater success. Her high school counselor discouraged her from going to college, claiming her accent and language skills were not good enough. She works several jobs, and uses her sewing skills to make extra money, but like many women…working hard is not enough.
